Polycom CX500
The Polycom CX500 is a standalone IP phone with embedded Lync 2010 software, so it can be seamlessly deployed within Lync Server 2010 environments.
It has a clutter-free design and large color display for viewing directory information. The CX500 provides the ultimate in calling convenience for common areas, like lobbies, hallways and break rooms.
The Polycom CX500 features standard Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity and an optional tamper-resistant wall mount. It also takes full advantage of the new device-only user mode in Lync Server and does not need a connection to a PC, which makes the CX500 ideal for use in public spaces.
The CX500 phone uses Polycom HD Voice technology to bring more richness and clarity to every call. Polycom HD Voice technology incorporates Microsoft RTAudio wideband audio with Polycom Acoustic Clarity technology for crystal-clear, noise, and echo-free sound; as well as best-in-class system design for high-fidelity voice reproduction.
