Axis T8129 is a PoE Extender that enables longer cable runs between an IP camera or other device and your IP network. Typically, PoE only runs through Ethernet cables for 100m (328ft). If you install a T8129 extender per 100m, you can add an additional 100m per extender (depending on camera model and power source) while maintaining only a single PoE switch or midspan for initial power. It supports both 802.3af and 802.3at PoE standards.
Axis T8129 has two Ethernet ports, which are both configured for link speed, duplex, and crossover. The extender maintains full network throughput for the length of the extension. It does not require a separate power supply for operation.
