Axis FA1080-E 2 Outdoor Thermal Covert IP Camera - 02114-001

The Axis FA1080-E 2 is an outdoor-ready thermal sensor that is just as discreet as it is flexible. Install it behind surfaces, on walls, or in recessed areas in places where discreet surveillance is needed. The device generates images based on the heat radiated from objects, vehicles, people, or animals. Unlike traditional cameras, the FA1080-E is less sensitive to lighting conditions. The thermal imaging gives you an accurate image regardless of low light levels, shadows, backlights, camouflage, or even total darkness. The thermal sensor provides a 208x156 image resolution and includes a 2.2mm lens with a 63° field of view. The 12 m/39.4’ cable allows for many options in installing the device.

For use with an Axis FA54 Main unit, it has a low rate of false alarms and supports a variety of Axis cameras through the Axis Camera Application Platform. It is a discreet and reliable addition to any security system.
