The entry phone has a built-in wide-angle camera to take video of visitors, adding a visual layer of protection. The intercom has a single button with blue LED light to indicate device status. Automatic noise cancellation improves sound quality. Because X-205-SS-EWP is a network-connected entry phone, you can program it through the network using a simple web-based GUI. It can dial up to 5 extensions. All this — and it measures just 5.75" by 3".
Viking X-205-SS-EWP is an IP entry phone that supports the open SIP protocol. It is compatible with a wide range of VoIP systems, and is also Multicast paging compatible. It has 2A relay contacts for connecting peripherals like a door strike or strobe light. It has a Gigabit Ethernet port for future-proof network connectivity and supports PoE. Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP) means the unit meets the IP66 standard against dust and water ingress. EWP includes foam rubber gaskets, sealed connections, and urethane or thermal plastic potted circuit boards. In addition, the stainless steel casing with laser-etched graphics and Torx security screws make is ultra-durable. Viking X-205-SS-EWP is ONVIF Profile S compliant.
