No extra door controller is needed. This model of Access Unit 2.0 supports contactless entry via RFID. As an RFID reader, it is compatible with a wide range of 13.56 MHz RFID cards and RFID keyfobs. You can connect the device to a door lock, exit button, door contact, and so on to enable instant, secure access. It even supports NFC for entry via compatible smartphones and apps. It's super easy to install: connect it via an Ethernet cable and power it via PoE.
