Axis License Plate Verifier is an AI-powered analytics application that enables automatic license plate recognition by compatible Axis IP cameras. This eLicense is for one camera; if you wish to use the application with multiple cameras, each camera needs one license. It is an edge-based application that runs on the camera itself, reducing system complexity and network load. It uses AI to improve accuracy and let it identify key characteristics on top of license plate numbers: vehicle type, color, make, and model (depending on conditions).

License Plate Verifier is designed for vehicle access control and free-flowing, moderate to high-speed traffic monitoring. Detection range and vehicle speed support depends on the model of camera; check the camera's capability before purchase. License Plate Verifier is also an excellent solution for parking solutions and vehicle search. The application logs detected vehicles as timestamped events with thumbnail images, which makes review and follow-up simpler and more efficient. It also supports allowlists and blocklists for automatic access control. License Plate Verifier is compatible with dozens of Axis security cameras, including PTZ cameras.
