Axis M4227-LVE is a high-powered IP camera with a 5 MP image sensor and a built-in audio sensor, giving you exceptionally detailed security video and a second layer of audio-based alerts. Designed for outdoor installation, M4227-LVE can take video in up to 5 MP resolution — 2.5x the resolution of a 1080p Full HD camera. It varifocal lens can be adjusted remotely for zoom level and focus, simplifying the process of getting the best shot. M4227-LVE has an audio sensor and supports Axis Audio Analytics. The two let the camera detect and classify specific sounds and sudden changes in volume, letting it initiate an alert in the case of broken glass, for example. In other words, you get top-tier video security plus automated alerts when something happens out of frame. To improve video quality, the camera supports Forensic WDR and improved Lightfinder 2.0. For nighttime or no-light surveillance, it has built-in OptmizedIR infrared LED lights.

M4227-LVE is powered by the purpose-built ARTPEC-8 System on a Chip. It comes with a range of analytics applications already installed, including Object Analytics for automatically classifying objects into usable categories for improved actionability on video. The camera also comes with Image Health Analytics, Scene Metadata, Live Privacy Shield, and Video Motion Detection. And best of all it's protected by Axis Edge Vault — a complete cybersecurity solution that protects the camera and camera system. An unobtrusive surveillance camera, M4227-LVE includes a weathershield for precipitation and sunshine protection. It meets the IP66 and IK10 durability standards with a polycarbonate hard-coated dome and robust casing. Store video in camera using a microSD card, or store and stream video through the network. Power the camera via PoE. Axis M4227-LVE is compliant with ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T for interoperability with third-party devices and systems.
