Axis P1518-E is a dual sensor IP camera that combines wide-angle and telephoto cameras into one device. Designed for indoor or outdoor installation, P1518-E has two cameras, each with its own sensor. The wide-angle camera is a 4K Ultra HD camera for exceptional detail on general coverage of open areas. The telephoto camera is a 1080p Full HD camera with varifocal lens that lets you zoom in on important details without loss of detail. It takes video at up to 60 fps, giving you close-up images without motion blur. By combining two cameras in one, you get complete video surveillance with a minimum of infrastructure expenditure. Better still, Axis improves the video quality of both streams with Forensic WDR and Lightfinder 2.0. Forensic WDR deals with high-contrast lighting to retain much more detail. Lightfinder 2.0 reproduces natural colors in extreme low-light, which makes identification more accurate.

P1518-E is an AI-powered security camera with extensive analytics capabilities and first-class cybersecurity. It comes with on-board analytics applications: Object Analytics, Video Motion Detection, and Scene Metadata. If you wish to extend its functionality for vehicular surveillance, it supports License Plate Verifier and Speed Monitor (not included). The camera is protected by Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform, and it has FIPS 140-3 Level 3 Certified secure key storage. P1518-E is built for outdoor installation. It works in extreme cold or heat and can even withstand hurricane-level winds. Store video in P1518-E using a microSD card or through the network.
