CCX 505 uses an advanced chipset to improve on the legendary Poly sound quality. With this Microsoft Teams phone, you get progressive audio technologies. Acoustic Fence makes a virtual perimeter around your conversation, eliminating noise beyond a certain distance. NoiseBlockAI dynamically mutes and unmutes the microphone to remove unwanted distractions. HD Voice means your voice will sound rich and natural. If you want to use the speakerphone, Acoustic Clarity gives you just that: clear sound. If you want to talk hands-free using a headset, the phone supports multiple types, including wireless Bluetooth headsets, plug-and-play USB-A or USB-C headsets, as well as traditional wired headsets using the RJ9 port. The phone's handset is hearing aid compatible (HAC).

CCX 505 offers two ways to connect to your IP network: Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The integrated Wi-Fi radio lets you use the phone wirelessly, especially convenient for home workers. For wired connectivity, use the Gigabit Ethernet ports. If you use the phone via Ethernet, you can power it via PoE. If you use the phone via Wi-Fi, however, you'll need an external power supply (not included).
