Viking SA-1S Infrared Remote Controllable Ceiling Speaker

Viking SA-1S is a remote controllable, analog paging speaker for mounting in ceilings. SA-1S is a 8-inch ceiling speaker with a built-in 1.5W power amplifier, giving you clear, room-filling sound in offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, and more. SA-1S uses the Viking two wire protocol for connectivity, which means the audio signal and power is delivered to the speaker via a single cable. That saves you on installation cost and time. As part of the Viking SA-Series, you use SA-1S with the SA-25 Self-Amplified Paging Control unit (not included). It can also be used with the SA-X12 Expander/Adapter (not included) to connect it to virtually any existing analog paging system.

SA-1S has an infrared receiver and a digital volume control built into it. That means you can adjust the speaker's volume using the Viking SA-IR Remote Control (not included). Put short, it's as easy to adjust the volume on the SA-1S as it is to adjust it on your TV. To let you know the volume, it beeps as you adjust it. You can even mute SA-1S if you need to. Having a paging speaker with a remote control makes your life much more convenient when compared with the typical analog paging speaker.
