2N Access Unit 2.0 Touch Keypad & RFID provides secure access control via the familiar keypad interface and RFID. This model supports both 125 kHz and secured 13.56 MHz RFID frequencies for contactless entry using standard RFID keyfobs or cards. The access unit enables two-factor authentication where users need to use RFID and a PIN code entered on the keypad.
Because it enables two-factor authentication, 2N Access Unit 2.0 Touch Keypad & RFID is useful for access control at secure sites like banks, laboratories, or warehouses. It also works great for office buildings, because it can track when employees arrive and depart. 2N is a network-connected endpoint, so it is configured and managed via a web-based interface.
