The Cisco SG300-52MP switch features 50 ports with gigabit Ethernet connectivity, 48 of which can power PoE+ enabled devices. These 48 ports can use a single Ethernet cable to provide data, voice and video to a connected VoIP or IP device, plus power the device if it supports PoE or PoE+. A maximum Power over Ethernet budget of 740 Watts enables the switch to power many more devices at once than a standard PoE switch. The switch also features two mini gigabit interface converter (mini-GBIC) expansion slots.
