The Digium TDM2406E card is a full-length, 32-bit, 33MHz, PCI 2.2-compliant card that includes 6 quad-port FXO modules for 24 total FXO ports, and supports up to 6 quad-port FXO or FXS modules, for a total of 24 maximum channels. The TDM2406E also includes a hardware echo cancellation module. The TDM2406E allows you to connect analog telephone lines through a PC and can be used in conjunction with Asterisk.
By using Digium's TDM hardware, Asterisk PBX software and PCs, users are able to create a SME or SOS phone environment that can include all the sophisticated features of a high-end PBX/Voicemail platform. The TDM2406E uses a bus-mastering PCI interface chip, and with Digium's patent-pending VoiceBus technology to eliminate the need for a separate channel bank and T1 interface cards. With interchangeable quad-FXO and quad-FXS modules to let you create any combination of interfaces. With optional hardware echo cancellation, you can take advantage of 256 taps of echo cancellation on both FXO and FXS interfaces. The solution is easy to scale by addition additional TDM2400 series cards.
