OpenVox FA40 is a failover box for an IP PBX. This box includes four interfaces, each featuring line, FXO, FXO and phone ports. Connect your existing PBX to this failover box, and then should the PBX lose power or otherwise fail, telephony connections will utilize the PSTN lines.
Deploy the OpenVox FA40 by connecting the FXO and FXS lines to the PBX, the line port to the PSN, and the phone port to the analog phone. The failover box automatically detects if the PBX is down and routes calls to the PSTN. The OpenVox FA40 is compatible with Asterisk.
