Axis A4131-E RFID Reader with Keypad - 03425-001

Axis A4131-E combines two secure access control solutions: contactless RFID reader and familiar keypad. Designed for indoor or outdoor use, A4131-E can be installed on a standard single-gang electrical box (not included) or on a wall; it meets the IP66 and IK07 Standards against dust and water ingress. As an RFID reader, it supports most smart RFID cards and keyfobs that use 13.56 MHz, providing a simple solution for fast, contactless door entry. As a keypad, it is a capacitive touch display for entering PIN codes — easy. This network-connected reader can be remotely managed through the IP access control system.

A4131-E is a versatile solution. It matches Axis network door controllers and Axis credentials, so it works perfectly within a single-vendor access control system. But it's also OSDP Secure Profile Verified, so it works with third-party systems that support OSDP. As a device for secure access control, it is exceptionally secure itself. It has an EAL6+ Certified Secure Element, plus transparent mode to enable end-to-end encryption, meaning the encryption key is not stored on the reader but on the door controller. Because of this secure arrangement, the key will be safe if the reader is physically tampered with.
