Axis A9801 is a simple solution for improving the security of doors controlled by compatible Axis network door stations and intercoms. Connect A9801 to the door station or intercom and mount it on the secure side of the door; it fits in most standard installation boxes. When a bad actor tampers with the connected door station or intercom, A9801 cuts the connection to the door strike — the door remains securely locked. Restore normal operation using the relay's reset button.
In addition to securing doors, A9801 acts as a power transformer. It can double the 12 V output from a door station to enable control of 24 V locks without you having to install any extra wiring or power supply.
