Axis Camera Station S2216 is a rack-mounted appliance that combines an HD network video recorder and a 16-port PoE switch in an all-in-one IP surveillance solution. As an NVR, S2216 records security video from connected IP cameras at up to 4k UHD resolution using an 8TB surveillance-class hard drive. If you need additional storage, it has 2 free bays for adding more. The operating system is installed on a separate 120GB SSD for fast operation and to protect the OS in the event of failure. S2216 also works for live-streaming video for public display or real-time surveillance: one 4k Ultra HD video stream, four 1080p Full HD video streams, or up to eight streams in total. It supports dual display connectivity.

Axis S2216 is also a 16-port network switch with PoE support. As a switch, S2216 provides enterprise-class connectivity and network control for up to 16 devices like IP cameras. It has a 260W power budget for driving PoE power to the devices, streamlining your infrastructure. Axis validates all hardware components in S2216 to ensure proper functioning. The appliance comes with Axis Camera Station preinstalled, so it is ready to go when you open the box. S2216 comes with 16 Axis Camera Station licenses. It is intended for rack-mounting.
