Axis M3138-LVE is a turret-style, AI-powered surveillance camera that delivers up to 4K Ultra HD (8 MP) video. Designed for outdoor or indoor installation, M3138-LVE is a powerful, network-connected security camera with advanced technology built in. It uses AI for audio and video analytics on the edge. Axis Object Analytics is a full suite of solutions that provides actionable insights. Axis Audio Analytics uses the camera's acoustic sensor to automatically analyze environmental noise levels for critical sounds like screams, shouts, or breaking glass; it then provides actionable information. Axis Image Health Analytics ensures picture quality, detecting tampering or image degradation, so you know you're getting the optimal shot all the time. Axis Scene Metadata analyzes the scene, providing an overview of what's happening and making your security video history easily searchable with a range of object classes and attributes. On top of its audio and video analytics, M3138-LVE also has first-class security: for the camera itself, for the camera system, and for the critical data communication. Axis Edge Vault is a hardware-based platform that safeguards the device; it includes FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure key storage and more.

M3138-LVE is a professional-grade IP camera. It has a flat-faced design, which reduces glare and reflections, producing better image quality. The camera has a large sensor and fixed 3.7 mm lens, making it perfect for general surveillance. With support for up to 4K Ultra HD video, it provides the necessary detail you need for protection. M3138-LVE has built-in Axis OptimizedIR infrared lights for no-light surveillance. Forensic WDR deals with high-contrast lighting to greatly reduce loss of detail, and Lightfinder 2.0 ensures accurate color reproduction in extreme low-light. Axis Zipstream greatly reduces file size to limit bandwidth and storage load; H.265 (HEVC) video compression reduces it even further. Store video in camera using a microSD card or through the network using an NVR or NAS solution. M3138-LVE is IP66 and IK10 Rated for durability; it has an extended operating temperature range. The camera has a Gigabit Ethernet port and is powered via PoE. It is compliant with ONVIF Profile G, Profile M, Profile S, and Profile T.
