Axis M4206-LV is a 3MP IP camera with built-in OptimizedIR infrared capability. Designed for indoor installation, M4206-LV is an ultra-compact vandal-resistant dome camera for use in spaces like retail stores or offices. The camera takes 3MP video in a 4:3 aspect ratio or 1080p Full HD video in a 16:9 aspect ratio. The lens offers remote focus and zoom controls to get the best picture possible. The wide f/2.0 gives it excellent low-light performance. For use with public monitors in entrances and similar applications, the camera has an HDMI interface to connect to an HD display.
Axis M4206-LV includes WDR technology to greatly reduce loss of detail due to under- or overexposure. The camera supports the ultra-efficient H.265 (HEVC) video compression to reduce the size of the video stream by up to 50% compared to H.264. Axis Zipstream provides additional size reduction while retaining important detail, so your bandwidth will be free and your storage will last longer. Use a microSD card to store video or use a network-attached storage solution. The IP42 and IK08 rated casing is made from over 40% recycled plastics, making the camera more environmentally friendly. Axis M4206-LV is ONVIF Profile S and Profile G compliant.
