Axis Q1659 is a professional IP security camera that uses a Canon EF lens and Canon APS-C sensor to give you class-leading 20MP surveillance video. This package comes with a Canon EF 85mm telephoto lens with a super-fast f/1.2 aperture for low light performance. Q1659 brings the quality of a top-end Canon DSLR camera to installed video surveillance. You get unparalleled video resolution up to 5472x3648 video at 8 frames per second or 4k Ultra HD 3840x2160 video at 25 frames per second. Axis Zipstream retains detail in the important sections of the image, while saving a lot on bandwidth and storage. When detailed evidence is absolutely needed, you can't find a better camera!
Axis Q1659 has a Gigabit Ethernet port and is PoE compliant for power via PoE injector or switch. Alternately, you can use an optional IP67-rated Axis PS24 240W adapter for power. For more bandwidth, connect a fiber optic cable using the SFP slot. Store video locally using a microSD, microSDHC, or microSDXC card. With Axis, you get the full compliment of security and QoS features for professional deployments. Compatible with a wide range of video management software platforms, the Q1659 is also ONVIF-S and -G compliant. For the more reliable outdoor installation, get the optional Axis T93C10 housing and Axis T93C wall-and-pole conduit back box. Axis includes a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
