Axis Q1728-LE is a 4K Ultra HD (8 MP) IP camera for outdoor surveillance. This model of Q1728-LE features a 15.2-48.7 mm varifocal lens with ultra-fast f/1.7 aperture for exceptional low-light performance. The telephoto lens lets you adjust the focal length to capture important details like license plates with no loss of detail when compared with digital zoom. Q1728-LE is powered by the purpose-built ARTPEC-9 System on a Chip (SoC). Its large 1/1.2-inch CMOS sensor improves image reproduction, especially noticeable in its excellent low-light performance. The camera resists the elements. It has a built-in wiper for keeping the front window free of rain or debris, and the front window also has a carbon nanotube film heater.
