Grandstream HT841 is a VOIP gateway with four FXO ports, plus one FXS port and two Ethernet ports. As an analog FXO gateway, HT841 lets you use analog phone lines with a VOIP phone system, letting you integrate VOIP devices with your existing traditional telephony system. Use the FXO ports to connect to a PSTN telephone line from a PBX or PSTN Central Office. The FXS port lets you connect an analog phone or fax machine to the gateway using a standard telephone cable. In addition to being a gateway, it is a high-performance NAT router, protecting the edge.
HT841 supports 3-way local audio conferencing per port to improve collaboration. It also supports the T.38 Fax Over IP protocol. With lifeline support in case of power outage, which lets you place PSTN calls in the event of disruption to internet service, HT841 is also a practical solution for emergency communications.
