But it still has incredible performance using a professional CMOS sensor and lens with f/2.0 aperture to let in lots of light. It even comes with a zero-light solution: EXIR 2.0 infrared lights. And if you want audio evidence as well, DS-2CD2563G0-IS has a built-in microphone. All this in an IP66 and IK08 rated mini-dome.

Will the 6MP video eat up all your bandwidth and storage? No. DS-2CD2563G0-IS supports H.265+ video compression: ultra-efficient. If you're installing it at an ATM or on a bus — or any other location with heavy dark/light contrast — the camera uses 120 dB True WDR to significantly reduce under- and overexposure. Store video in camera using a microSD card or through the network using an NVR or NAS solution. DS-2CD2563G0-IS is ONVIF Profile G and Profile S compliant.
