Because it uses DECT, Savi 8210-M Office has an almost 200ft range in the typical office environment, more than the typical Bluetooth headset. And Plantronics uses the latest DECT security features to protect your communications. The battery is rechargeable and replaceable, giving you 13 hours of talk time. Savi 8210-M features an adaptive power system to reduce power consumption when the headset is near the base, save battery life, and improve headset density. DECT uses a different wireless spectrum than WiFi or Bluetooth, so using a DECT headset helps to prevent signal loss from traffic congestion, a major problem in our increasingly wireless offices.
Plantronics Savi 8210-M includes a desktop base, which not only provides a convenient hook for holding the headset that doubles as a charger, but also has numerous interfaces, including handset lifter jack and deskphone configuration switch.
