Poly Savi 8445 Office is a versatile wireless headset that lets you choose how to wear it. It comes with a base that lets you connect to a VoIP phone, computer, and mobile device at the same time, and you can use the headset for taking calls on all of them. Savi 8445 Office is an ultra-lightweight DECT headset that includes three methods of wearing it: earhook, neckband, or headband. It gives you unlimited battery life via a hot swap battery (two are included in the box). When you're running low, just switch out batteries without ever disconnecting. As a DECT headset, it gives you a wireless range well beyond the capabilities of Bluetooth: up to 590 feet line of sight or 180 feet in the typical office environment. The noise-cancelling microphone is backed by close conversation limiting technology for a distraction-free experience. As a single-ear headset or mono headset, it lets you stay in touch with your environment as you work. Savi 8445 Office communicates with its base via DECT 6.0.
Savi 8445 Office comes with the Poly Savi Universal Office Base. This base connects the headset to multiple devices at the same time, letting you switch between the devices with just a tap of a button. The Savi Universal Office Base has a color display, dedicated buttons for switching between devices, and a wheel on the side for controlling headset settings and more. The base connects to the Savi 8445 Office headset via DECT. It connects to mobile devices like smartphones or tablets via Bluetooth. It connects to a computer via USB. It connects to a desk phone via a standard telephone interface cable. The package includes USB and telephone interface cables. Designed for maximum flexibility, the Savi Universal Office Base works with many Poly Savi Series wireless headsets, including Savi 7300, Savi 7400, Savi 8200, and Savi 8400 headsets.
