Polycom RealPresence Desktop turns your computer into a high-performance, desktop video conferencing solution without locking you into a subscription. Desktop gives you HD video conferencing and content sharing. Setup is simple using the clear, easy to use application for Windows or MacOS. It supports SIP and H.323, so it's interoperable with other standards-based systems and endpoints. It works as well for two people with home offices as it does for an enterprise with up to 50,000 devices.
The software supports either a built-in webcam or USB camera for sending HD video. You can use a native microphone or USB or 3.5mm headset for sending wideband audio. RealPresence Desktop supports Acoustic Fence, a class-leading background noise reduction technology, as well as NoiseBlock for further audio clarification. Automatic backlight compensation makes you look great, even in poor lighting conditions. MusicMode enables accurate reproduction for live music, for example, at a concert or for distant music teaching. SmartPairing lets you pair your device with a Polycom Group Series system to share your display or act as the Group system's remote control. Presence information lets you know when your collaborator is free.
Download the software to your Windows or MacOS computer. Then register using this license, which enables the software for the lifetime of the device. It also gives you a one-year contract with Polycom Premier maintenance services. The license is delivered via email. It is not transferable.
