Valcom VIP-140A is an 8-inch paging speaker purpose-built for clean room environments — ideal for pharmaceutical, medical, laboratory and similar applications. This indoor ceiling speaker has a polycarbonate dust shield to inhibit contamination from airborne particles. As a network speaker, VIP-140A works wonderfully for broadcasting pages, emergency alerts, music, and tones — and it supports SIP and Multicast concurrently.
VIP-140A features an 8-inch cone for powerful, clear audio. Program the IP paging speaker for either one-way or talk-back (duplex) operation. It connects to the network via Ethernet cable and is powered via PoE (Power Over Ethernet). The steel grille with white powder coated finish protects the speaker and provides a classy, discreet look.
