Valcom VIP-893 IP/SIP Interactive Console

Valcom VIP-893 is a convenient, multi-function, touch-based console for use with an IP paging system and compatible IP endpoints. VIP-893 has a large 10.1-inch touchscreen display with USB handset and speakerphone. Use the console for one-touch actions, including live paging, sending out text to connected signs, playing an emergency alert, launching pre-recorded audio, and more. You can customize up to 16 tabs with up to 16 buttons per tab — that's 256 one-touch action buttons. You can also use the console to interact with intercoms and other two-way audio endpoints, which means you can use it, for example, to talk with visitors at a doorway and let them in; speak with the visitors using the handset or speakerphone. For emergency scenarios, you can pre-program alerts including text and audio messages that the user can activate with one tap. All this functionality requires the user to tap one button on the console display — ultra-simple.

Configure VIP-893 using the Valcom V-102B VIP Setup Tool software. Customize the buttons and functions that the console performs using its intuitive browser-based interface. You can customize tabs and button layout, create new actions, change button color, set priority levels for the actions, and much more. You can set paging groups for sending audio only to specific endpoints, and you can configure access levels. Upload a WAV audio file for playing pre-recorded audio in the browser interface or record an audio file directly on the console.

VIP-893 is an IP console that connects to your IP paging system via an Ethernet cable; a 10-foot Cat6 cable comes pre-attached to the console, and the package includes an RJ45 coupler for extending the cable run. Power it using PoE+ or using the included AC adapter. VIP-893 is for indoor use only. If you wish to add scheduling functionality, upgrade the console with the Valcom L893-S Scheduler Firmware (available separately).
