Viking VE-5x5-PNL is an official surface mount box with an integrated rainguard and a clear-coated 12 gauge aluminum blank panel. The panel is designed to be modified by the installer for use with a card reader, keypad, switch, or similar device. The mount box is made from 16 gauge cold rolled steel with a UV-stable black powder painted finish.
