Yealink RoomPanel is a dedicated touch controller for placing outside of a meeting room, providing all users with a convenient, easy-to-use scheduling panel as part of a smart workspace. This open model of RoomPanel is interoperable with a broad range of platforms, including Appspace, Flowscape, Microsoft Teams, Space Connect, and Zoom. RoomPanel is an Android-based, 8-inch touchscreen panel that makes it ultra-simple for workers to schedule a meeting, reserve a room, view a calendar, and more.
To improve security, RoomPanel supports 12.56 MHz RFID and NFC contactless ID authorization. It also supports Wi-Fi for wireless network connectivity and Bluetooth for connecting to room sensors without cabling. Its proximity sensor automatically wakes the screen when someone approaches and its ambient light sensor automatically adjusts screen brightness for readability. Its ends have high-visibility LED lights along the edge, which light up to indicate status, so workers can tell at a glance if the room is busy. It has two microphones and two speakers for future use.
RoomPanel can be mounted in either portrait or landscape orientation. The panel comes with multiple installation methods. Using the included hardware, you can mount it on glass, on a wall, or on a standard 2-gang electrical box. The box includes 0° and 20° mounting brackets, as well as a security latch to prevent the panel from being removed after installation. RoomPanel can be powered via DC power or via POE (Power Over Ethernet).
