Yealink SIP-T42S combines executive features and everyday reliability in one affordable VoIP phone. With a sleek design including a 2.7" LCD, paperless labels, six line keys and four context-sensitive soft keys, the T42S looks great on the desk and functions brilliantly as part of a SIP system, including ones it supports like 3CX and Broadsoft. The T42S has Yealink's Optima HD Voice technology for wideband audio. It supports the increasingly popular Opus audio codec, which is adaptable to both wideband and narrowband. The handset has been upgraded to be Hearing Aid Compatible. The T42S has a USB port for adding Bluetooth or WiFi functionality with an optional dongle (support pending). Use a wired headset via the RJ9 port, or a wireless EHS port via the RJ12 port with an optional wireless headset adapter.
Yealink T42S has dual Gigabit Ethernet ports for lightning fast internet using pass-through. It's a PoE device. The full-duplex speakerphone comes with acoustic echo cancellation to keep your conversations clear, including 3-way conferences, which come supported. Yealink has integrated security features including provisioning over HTTPS, AES encryption of the configuration file, 802.1X authentication and SRTP for voice communications. The phone comes with a dual-position desk stand, and can be wall-mounted using an optional kit.
