Thermal sensor module for the Mobotix S15D camera, when the camera is upgraded to software version MX-V4.2.1.43. The module can be installed up to 6.5 feet away from the camera core, letting you hide the camera and keep the module in the action. Both the sensor module and compatible camera core are weatherproof, enabling discreet indoor or outdoor surveillance.
The Mobotix thermal sensor module provides a thermographic representation of heat signatures from people, vehicles and any other source. It is ideal for dark or challenging lighting conditions, providing details that visual-only sensors may not be able to provide, such as exact structures and outlines. Motion detection is also supported, trigging the camera to start recording or another function.
