Algo 8188B is a network-connected speaker for indoor placement. An 8" speaker with a classy black grille, 8188B provides wideband audio for paging, public broadcasting, emergency notifications, and background music. Use the speaker in spaces like hospitals, offices, airports, lobbies, and retail stores. 8188B uses a 6.5" coaxial speaker for loud, clear sound to improve comprehension, including meeting NFPA 72 requirements for intelligibility and OSHA standards. The speaker has a built-in microphone, which allows for two-way audio. You can also program the speaker to analyze ambient sound levels and adjust the volume automatically. It has 1GB of internal storage for loading custom ring tones, announcements, and music.
Algo 8188B supports SIP and can be integrated with a huge range of VoIP systems and cloud services. It also supports RTP, Polycom Group Page, InformaCast, and SA-Announce multicast types to enable broadcasting across a whole set of speakers. Using SIP speakers mean you can centrally manage and configure all the devices in your paging system. 8188B is UL2043 certified for installation in air handling spaces. Power the speaker using PoE.. Use the programmable relay I/O contacts to connect additional devices.
