Axis Camera Station S2208 Mk II is an all-in-one solution for connecting IP cameras to the network, providing them power, viewing live video, and recording video at the same time. In other words, S2208 Mk II combines a network video recorder (NVR) and 8-port PoE switch. It comes with eight Axis Camera Station Pro Core Device NVR licenses (which are tied to the hardware), so you can establish a professional surveillance system easily and efficiently. It comes loaded with software like Axis Recorder Toolbox to give you a truly professional security system. It even supports AI applications like Smart Search 2 to make your video more functional. And the appliance protects your IP camera system with high-security features like a FIPS 140-2 Level Certified TPM.

As an NVR, Axis S2208 Mk II comes with 4 TB of hard drive storage space with an additional slot for more storage if you need it. The security camera appliance runs Windows 11 IoT Enterprise and is powered by an Intel Core i3 CPU. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports that you can use for live view, streaming one 4K Ultra HD feed (four 1080p Full HD feeds) using the Windows client or even one 8K video feed in a local or remote web client. As a switch, it has eight Gigabit Ethernet ports to connect IP cameras and other network devices. It's a PoE switch, so it can deliver power to each of these eight devices with a 135 W total power budget.
