Axis Companion Bullet LE is an outdoor network security camera for SMBs (small-to-midsize businesses) that can be installed on walls or ceilings. The Bullet LE is simple to install and securely manageable from anywhere using the Axis Companion video management software for Windows and mobile app for Android or iOS. Axis Bullet LE takes 1080p video at 30 fps using a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and 2.8 mm lens. An integrated 850 nm infrared LED allows the Bullet LE to take surveillance footage even in pitch-black darkness. The front of the camera has a special flat design that reduces reflections, and Axis has developed WDR (wide dynamic range) technology that allows the Bullet LE to handle high-contrast scenarios.
Axis Companion Bullet LE connects to your LAN via an Ethernet cable, and is a PoE device, which means you can power the camera through the same cable that connects it. Axis Zipstream technology reduces detail in unimportant sections of the video, saving you a lot of storage and bandwidth, while the efficient H.264 video codec reduces network load significantly. You can store video directly in the camera using a microSD card, or you can connect it to a recorder like the Axis Companion Recorder. The Bullet LE is a rugged camera, capable of withstanding temperatures down to -22°F. The casing is IP66-, NEMA 250 Type 4X- and IK08-rated. Axis Companion Bullet LE comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
