Axis Companion Cube L is part of the Axis Companion Line, an end-to-end surveillance solution for small to midsize businesses. Companion Cube L takes 1080p Full HD video at 30 fps using a sensitive 2 MP CMOS sensor. The 2.8 mm lens and f/2.0 aperture mean you get a generous field of view and lots of light is let onto the sensor. The camera includes an adjustable infrared LED with a range of 32 ft and a passive infrared motion sensor with a range of almost 20 ft. The IR sensor means you get usable evidence even in zero light conditions. Video is encoded using H.264 or Motion JPEG. Axis Zipstream technology keeps bandwidth free by only retaining detail on necessary imagery, a huge savings over time. Axis Wide Dynamic Range technology means your camera can handle high-contrast situations.
Axis Companion Cube L has a built-in microphone and speaker, and audio can be set-up in two-way, half-duplex or disabled. The camera connects to the LAN via Ethernet cable, which also can power the camera via PoE. Store video locally using a compatible microSD card, or through the LAN via a network recorder like the Axis Companion Recorder. The package includes a table-top stand and a mount bracket. The durable casing is built out of polycarbonate, aluminum and recycled plastic. Axis includes a three-year manufacturer warranty.
