Axis D2122-VE 180° Radar Black - 03123-001

Axis D2122-VE is a radar with a 180° horizontal field of detection and AI-enhanced capability. Designed for outdoor use in large, open areas, D2122-VE delivers 24/7 protection in any weather or lighting condition. The radar has box-shaped recognition zones for high efficiency in area coverage. It has a maximum human recognition range of over 450 feet and a maximum vehicle recognition range of over 650 feet, which means an up to 215,000 square foot recognition zone for persons and an up to 421,000 square foot recognition zone for vehicles. D2122-VE accurately tracks up to 100 different objects concurrently. You can configure the radar to work with other network devices to automatically trigger actions, for example, by setting off a strobe/siren or telling a camera to start recording.

D2122-VE can be used by alone or you can integrate the radar with select Axis PTZ cameras that use the ARTPEC-9 chip. This fusion of radar and video camera make surveillance data better, thus improving actionable insights and decision making. You can even set use both radar and camera together to verify detection and classification before triggering an action. Better still, only one IP address is needed for the paired devices. To simplify installation, D2122-VE uses the same mounting interface as the cameras. The energy-efficient radar connects to the network via Ethernet cable, is powered via PoE, and has a PoE output port for running PoE power to the PTZ camera. The Gigabit Ethernet connection ensures lightning-fast network connectivity. Mount D2122-VE on poles, fence lines, or walls (may require a separate mounting kit).
