Axis M3905-R M12 is a ruggedized mini-dome IP camera for use in moving transport like buses and trains. It meets transportation industry regulations like for fire-safety on buses. As a 1080p Full HD camera, it gives you detailed video. Its wide-angle 3.6 mm lens with 88° horizontal field of view allows the compact surveillance camera to cover constrained spaces like on a bus. To improve video quality across a range of typical lighting scenarios, it comes with a range of technologies. Lightfinder gives more natural coloration to video taken in extreme low-light conditions. Forensic WDR dynamically adapts to high-contrast lighting, which is particular useful in mobile environments where bright sunlight coming in from windows can also cast strong shadows. With Forensic WDR, you keep much more important detail.
M3905-R also offers advanced modes specifically for onboard usage. For example, Traffic Light mode lets the camera tell the color of traffic lights apart in low-light. To reduce storage burden, Zipstream and H.265 (HEVC) compression make the video feed much more efficient. Store video in camera using a microSD card or through the network. M3905-R is built to last, meeting numerous durability standards, including IP66/67 and IK10. It also can withstand vibrations and a wide range of temperatures. If you want to install M3905-R on the outside of a bus, use the optional Axis TP3826-E Housing (02672-001). M3905-R meets the ONVIF G, M, S, and T profiles.
M3905-R RJ45 (02502-001) has an M12 connector. If you want the same camera with an RJ45 connector, search for Axis M3905-R RJ45 (02501-001).
