Axis P1280-E 4 mm Covert Thermal IP Camera - 0940-001

Axis P1280-E is a covert thermal IP camera that works perfectly for detection to trigger alarms in all weather and lighting conditions. Designed to provide a low rate of false alarms and protect of privacy of individuals, P1280-E comprises a FA1080-E Sensor Unit and P12 Mk II Main Unit with a 39 foot cable to connect the two. The sensor unit has a 4 mm athermalized lens that provides a narrower-angle viewing area with extended coverage. The sensor unit is made to be as small as possible: 2.4 inches long and 1.2 inches in diameter. Its miniscule size lets you position it discreetly almost anywhere. The main unit processes the video and connects to the network. By dividing the camera in two, P1280-E can be much, much smaller than a comparable thermal camera.

P1280-E features integrated analytics support, including Motion Guard, Fence Guard, and Loitering Guard. It also supports Perimeter Defender. Store video in the main unit using a microSD card or through the network. P1280-E is ONVIF Profile G and Profile S compliant. The package comes with a Axis F8201 Vari-angle Mounting Bracket.

Note: Axis P1280-E 4 mm 8.3 fps (0940-001) has a 4 mm lens. If you want the same camera with a 2.2 mm lens for a wider viewing angle, search for Axis P1280-E 2.2 mm 8.3 fps (02114-001).
