The Axis P1485-LE License Plate Verifier Kit consists of an Axis P1485-LE Bullet Camera that comes with Axis License Plate Verifier application installed on the camera and a license for the application included. The kit enables automatic license plate capture for free-flow traffic at up to 105 km/h (65 mph) with edge analytics. License Plate Verifier is an edge-based application that does more than read license plates; it can recognize the type of vehicle — car, SUV, van, pickup, truck, bus, bicycle — as well as the make, model, and color of vehicles. The camera is easy to integrate with first-party (Axis) and third-party systems.

For this kit, Axis P1485-LE has been purpose-tuned to improve license plate capture. It's a 1080p Full HD bullet camera with a 28 mm tele lens that lets it read plates from 20 to 65 feet away; support for corridor format lets the camera efficiently cover the area of a traffic lane. The IP camera supports a high frame rate for detail in fast-motion situations, plus it supports Lightfinder 2.0 for improved accuracy in extreme low-light. It even has OptimizedIR infrared lights for no-light scenarios. The traffic camera installation assistant and remote zoom/focus simplifies alignment and configuration of the camera for accurate reading with a minimum of headache. P1485-LE is built to withstand the weather and traffic vibrations. Axis offers a wide range of accessories like mounts, housings, and cabinets to round out the installation.
