Axis T8604 is a media converter switch with two standard Ethernet ports and two SFP ports, for Ethernet to fiber optic connectivity. Connect an IP camera to the switchâ Ethernet port, and then connect the switch to the network over fiber optics. Fiber optic enables the camera or other connected IP endpoint to be placed further away from the source for longer deployments across a dispersed campus or city surveillance network. This switch is also ready for daisy chaining and multiple endpoints, with the only limitations being the bitrate of the devices and connections.
