Axis TU8008 Ethernet to Fiber Media Converter - 03534-001
Axis TU8008 is an Ethernet to Fiber converter that enables long-distance wired network connectivity for IP cameras. Use TU8008 for surveillance in spread out systems, like in city-wide surveillance, airports, and more. And it's simple to use with two Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 2.5-Gigabit SFP ports. The secondary Ethernet ports can be used for connecting an additional camera or for local device management. By using TU8008, you can reduce the effects of lightning strikes on your system.
You can daisy-chain multiple TU8008 media converters in one system for greatly extended area coverage; the number of daisy-chained devices you can use in one system is dependent on the media bit rate and by link limitations. Manage both the converter and the connected device(s) through the network or locally using its secondary Ethernet port. The package includes wall and DIN rail mounting options. It has an extended operating temperature range of -40°F to 167°F. TU8008 requires an external power supply (not included).
