Here’s how Acoustic Fence works on Blackwire 8225.
The headset uses two microphones that are physically separated: one on the microphone and one on an earcup. (These microphones are different from the four used by Advanced Hybrid ANC.)
The microphones allow the headset to distinguish between the speaker’s voice and background noise.
The integrated Digital Signal Processor (DSP) then removes the background noise. Acoustic Fence is particularly useful in situations where other conversations are going on around you, like in open offices, shared workspaces, mobile worker areas and so on.
