Yes, beautifully. Algo offers top-tier paging equipment that works with Microsoft Teams.
Algo has certified many of their endpoints for native compatibility with Microsoft Teams. They use Microsoft Teams SIP Gateway to integrate with the platform. This means you don’t require a session border controller (SBC) or VoIP gateway to integrate Algo devices with Teams (although you can still do that!).
Using Algo paging devices that are compatible with Microsoft Teams, you can integrate your PA system with your other communications, simplifying your communications ecosystem as a whole. Better yet, using one system for all your communications can also save you a bunch of money, potentially.

Algo IP endpoints are compatible with Microsoft Teams SIP Gateway
Algo offers Microsoft Teams compatible paging speakers, emergency notification solutions, loud ringers, and more.
Here are a couple of examples to show why this is a big deal.
Algo offers a variety of IP paging speakers that are now compatible with Microsoft Teams SIP Gateway. These include an outdoor-rated speaker horn like Algo 8186, a general-use ceiling speaker like Algo 8188, and even more specialized speakers like Algo 8190S, which is an indoor speaker with integrated clock and strobe light. With options like Algo provides, you can set-up a Microsoft Teams paging system for schools with little effort.
For notifications in sound-sensitive situations, you can set up a multi-color strobe light like Algo 8138. This means vital Teams notifications will not be missed. Using a strobe light can make your Teams communications system more accessible for hearing-challenged individuals. It can also make your notifications easily visible in loud locations like on the factory floor. They’re also great for using Microsoft Teams paging equipment in warehouses.

How do you integrate Algo IP endpoints with Microsoft Teams

You register devices typically with a Microsoft Teams Shared Device License, although you can also use a full-user license and associate the device with that. Note that only one SIP extension can be registered per device.
Do you have to register each and every device? No. You can register one device, then leverage the endpoints’ support for Multicast to allow for broadcasting to up to 50 zones, making the system much more affordable and scalable. With a single registration, you can broadcast to many endpoints. You get a paging system that works with Microsoft Teams without needing to worry about licenses for each individual speaker.
If, however, you want full-duplex communications like with an intercom, both devices on the ends of the two-way conversation need to be registered.

The device must be running Algo firmware v5.3.4 or newer.
