Jabra Link 400a is a highly portable, plug-and-play USB dongle for connecting compatible Jabra DECT headsets to a computer — no base station required. Perfect for hybrid workers who primarily use softphones, Link 400a is a USB-A dongle that you use just like a Bluetooth dongle — just plug it into the PC or laptop and select the headset as your audio peripheral. The dongle is also available with a USB-C plug: just search for Link 400c.
Link 400 gives your wireless headset an amazing wireless range of up to 490 feet — over a football field and a half. On top of that, it secures your communications with military-grade encryption and more — goes beyond DECT Security Level C. The dongle has a puck design with silicon rubber connector, which is designed to be flexible — improves durability. The puck has a button to connect your headset with the dongle. The button has a ring LED light around it, which lights up in different colors to let you know status: call connected, microphone muted and more. Because it's a USB device, Link 400 UC is compatible with pretty much every softphone application and cloud phone service on the market today.
As of July 2022, Link 400 is compatible with Jabra Engage 55, Engage 65 and Engage 75 DECT Headsets. To use the headset with the adapter, you will need to update the headset's firmware.
