Viking 40-IP is a network-enabled ceiling speaker for paging systems that supports SIP and Multicast. Intended for indoors mounting in a ceiling or on a wall, the 40-IP is a classy, discreet loudspeaker that produces loud, clear audio. It connects to your computer network using a Fast Ethernet port, and is a PoE device, so you can power the speaker through the Ethernet cable. Being network connected makes this paging speaker simple to install as part of a scalable paging system.
Viking 40IP is managed through the network, which gives you fine-grained control over its operation, including paging prioritization and volume control. This speaker does not feature two-way audio. If you want an identical speaker with two-way audio for talkback, see the Viking 40TB-IP.
