Viking E-1600-30-IP is a SIP-enabled emergency phone that can be flush-mounted using the included plastic rough-in box to attach it to studs (it will not fit a double gang box). E-1600-30-IP meets the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards for emergency or elevator phones, and includes an attachable Grade 2 braille label. It produces sound up to 95 dB at 1 m. The phone runs the open SIP standard, which means it can be integrated with a broad range of compatible VoIP phone systems, including 3CX, Asterisk, Switchvox, Elastix and Cisco Unified Communications Manager. Because of its VoIP integration, you can securely program E-1600-30-IP from any touchtone phone or PC on the same LAN. It calls up to five emergency numbers.
Viking E-1600-30-IP is physically secure, with 14-gauge marine-grade 316 stainless steel cover with laser-etched graphics and T-10 Torx security screws. It has a single 10/100 Ethernet port which is PoE-enabled to power the phone through the LAN with a PoE switch or injector, and three gel-filled butt connectors. It is rated for operation down to -40°F and up to 140°F. Its surface measures 5" square, and it has an LED call connected light. Surface-mount the E-1600-30-IP using the optional Viking VE-5x5 mounting box.
