Viking E-1600-912IPEWP is an ADA compliant emergency phone with Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP); E-1600-912IPEWP is purpose designed for mounting in a Viking VE-9x12 Outdoor Enclosure (not included). As such, it is an exceptional solution for emergency communications in the harshest weather environments. EWP helps protect the device with features like a polymer-encased, sealed circuit board and more; with EWP, the emergency phone handles cold weather, hot weather, moisture and precipitation — even corrosive salt or exhaust. E-1600-912IPEWP meets the IP66 Standard. On top of Enhanced Weather Protection, it is built for durability with marine grade stainless steel, including a stainless steel call button.

E-1600-912IPEWP is an emergency phone for everyone. It meets ADA requirements with features like Grade 2 braille labels, call status indicator lights, and automatic location transmission of its location via voice message. The emergency phone stores up to 28 seconds of voice memory in non-volatile digital voice announcer. It will dial up to 5 phone numbers in a cycle until emergency personnel are reached. After the call button is pressed, communication is hands-free with automatic noise cancellation clarifying the audio streams.

E-1600-912IPEWP is made to be installed in a VE-9x12 enclosure. This is a UV stable polycarbonate / ABS composite enclosure that withstands ultra-challenging weather. The emergency phone has an extended operating temperature range of -40°F to 140°F and can withstand humidity levels up to 100%. As a VoIP emergency phone, it is SIP compliant, making it interoperable with a wide range of VoIP platforms and services. Configure and manage the emergency phone using Viking Device Manager software. The emergency phone connects to the network using an Ethernet cable and is powered via PoE; it has 2 Amp relay contacts for connecting peripherals like a strobe light or a door strike.
