Axis M4317-PLVE is an ultra-compact, panoramic IP camera with integrated deep learning processing unit (DLPU) to improve processing and storage, plus to enable more advanced analytics on the edge. Designed for indoor or outdoor installation, M4317-PLVE measures less than 6 inches in diameter, but packs in a professional 1.1 mm stereographic lens for greater than 180° coverage from one camera. Sharpdome technology reduces distortion compared to other dome cameras. Digital roll functionality enables distant camera rotation to simplify installation and ensure you get the right shot. It offers 180° or 360° coverage in a variety of viewing modes, including overview, panorama, quad view, corner right/left, and more. For surveillance when there’s no light, M4317-PLVE has built-in OptimizedIR infrared lights with 65 foot reach. You can control the infrared LEDs individually to reduce reflections and ensure excellent evidence.
M4317-PLVE uses its purpose-built ARTPEC-8 System on a Chip not only to provide ultra-reliable performance, but also to enable advanced features like the pre-installed Object Analytics, which detects and classifies humans and vehicles using AI-based algorithms automatically. M4317-PLVE has security at its root with Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform that protects the device, plus your entire IP camera system. Store video in camera using a microSD card or through the network. The polycarbonate, hard-coated dome casing means the camera meets the IP66 and IK10 durability standards. M4317-PLVE is compliant with ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T.
