Axis M4318-PLR is a 12 MP panoramic IP camera for onboard installation on buses. M4318-PLR meets strict industry bus regulations. This ruggedized mini-dome surveillance camera offers 180° or 360° overview from a single camera that measures less than 6 inches in diameter. Because it uses a 12 MP sensor, you get exceptional detail. With its 1.2 mm fisheye lens that is delivered factory-focused and digital roll functionality, you have a simple, effective means of protection that you can adjust from a distance. Select from an expansive list of viewing modes to see the security video how you need to: overview, panorama, quad view, and more. Sharpdome technology greatly reduces distortion compared with the average dome camera. M4318-PLR even has built-in OptimizedIR infrared lights with nearly 50 foot reach for surveillance in no-light situations. To reduce reflections, you can control the infrared LEDs individually.
M4318-PLR is powered by the purpose-built ARTPEC-8 System on a Chip, which enables advanced features like the pre-installed Object Analytics. This time-saving solution automatically detects and classifies humans and vehicles, including types of vehicles, via AI-based algorithms. To protect your surveillance investment, Axis has built M4318-PLR with security from the start. It comes with Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform that protects both device and the IP camera system as a whole. Store video in camera using a microSD card or through the network. The polycarbonate, hard-coated dome casing gives it IP66 and IK10 ratings. M4318-PLR is compliant with ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T.
